Yes you can make a 43cc minibike faster by buying it a performance kit or tuning the carbureator.

I suggest you go to www.partsforscooters.com they have a wide variety of performance parts and the original stock parts the vehicle you purchased came with

If anything else besides messing around with the carb and buying kits for a bigger head kit, try the sprockets, and the transmission. www.partsforscooters.com does have a good selection, but can somtimes be pretty pricy. try www.scooterparts4less.com. big selection and you can even view the parts by what type of minibike you have. dunno if it has the old ones, but it does carry mini chopper parts and whatnot. if its a mini pocket-rocket, then go there and look around.
