Can you mix xopenex and claritin?

I just asked my pharmicist this question this afternoon while picking up my xopenex refill. He said it was fine provided its the plain mucinex & plain claritin.

Yes. My child's doctor told us it was OK as long as you don't take more than the reccomended dosage of either.

Yes, I was taking Xanax for awhile for anxiety after several panic attacks and my doctor prescribed Claritin for seasonal allergies. The Xanax wasn't a particularly high dose, .25 mg ever 4-6 hours...

I don't think your doctor will recommend it, plus if you do then you'd be in the hospital.
