PayPal can work in several ways. The most common (and default) solution, is to transfer money from your bank account, into your PayPal account by simple biller code; or, you can pay directly from your linked bank account.
The latter option - paying from your bank account, may include small fees from your bank, and the availability of such a transaction may entirely lie on the discretion of your banking service, i.e. your bank may not support this option.
However, all banks will support PayPal's default transaction type, as it is a standard money transfer.
