∙ 11y agoYes...Lyme can be transmitted in utero...there IS a test available for screening the placenta to be sure that it did not pass...
Breast milk too...can pass the bacteria to the infant...
Co-infections...many can ALSO be passed in utero and possibly via breast milk...
And...although no one is willing to join in any studies...there is a lot of anecdotal evidence with regard to sexual transmission...Many say NO...many say YES...
Bottom line...not enough studies and research has been done on this...so NO ONE has a definitive answer...
