I just wanted to clarify the previous answer. DISH Network is available in Canada but provided by Bell Canada. The programming packages are different from the packages in the United States. All equipment is provided by Bell Canada.

It depends on the movie and receiver. The formats are either MPEG-2 or MPEG-4. Our HD receivers are in MPEG-4 and the other receivers are in MPEG-2. Eventually they will all be in MPEG-4.
No, you are not able to use the LNB from DISH Network and receive dtv signal. Our receivers and LNB decode the signal to bring the picture to your TV.
