Yes. It must be from the same carrier, though. For example, an AT&T sim only works in an AT&T pay-as-you-go, not a VirginMobil or Sprint.

∙ 15y agoThe sim itself is pay as you go, so if you put the sim into an (unlocked) contract phone, it would still work as a pay as you go phone.

It will, but only if the pay as you go SIM card actually works in the phone. Most phones these days tend to get locked to the network they were provided with, and sometimes even locked to the particular SIM they were provided with. Obviously, even if it does work OK, the monthly SIM will still need to be cancelled if you don't wish to continue paying for it.

No if you buy the phone straight, with no service just the phone. But if you do that you gonna have to pay full price for the phone so depending on the type of phone it could be very expensive. When you sign a contract you don't pay full price for the phone. Do you want an extra phone to swap sim cards like I do?

It is up to you. A contract means you can get the phone for free, and get a new one when the contract renews. Non contract is when you have to buy the phone up front and put a PAYG sim in it

If the net 10 phone is "unlocked" and the sim card fits. Usually the phone needs to be unlocked network wise not pin wise.
