Can you redirect data sent to a serial and send it to a USB port?

Answer

Can u just be a little more elaborate on this issue.I mean to say what exactly do u want.May be more clarification ll help me in giving you the answer.

Answer

When sending data to one of your I/O devices the determining factor to where it goes is the drivers installed for the device. Perhaps you are using some sort of serial/USB adapter, in this case if the drivers installed don't support a USB port you will need to update them. If such drivers exist for your device you will probably find them at the manufacture's website.

Answer

I am also looking for a software were i can convert the serial data so that it could be understood by a usb port. I want my usb port to acts as a COM port because my application on the compputer can only understand and send information to COM port and not to USB port where as my computer doesnt have a COM port but has a USB port.
