Yes you can,but only if it is used with a gravity feed system because clear vinyl tubing cannot hold much more than a few psi fuel pressure. Also,it may start to yellow and harden with todays fuels.
You can use clear tube for a fuel line but only when using a system that is fed by gravity. Any other type of fuel system will have too much pressure for the tubing to handle.

There is no safe way to repair a broken or leaking brake line. The line or tubing that is leaking must be replaced or a new piece of tube, spliced into the line with fittings, to replace the leaking area.

I cut out the bad section of the plastic line. Bought rubber tubing at the Auto Parts store to fit the OD of the plastic line and plugged them together. It works fine.
it should be inline. trace you fuel line back and you should run in to it, it should be silver or clear. if it is not in line, then it is in your tank.
