Generally, when you drive the car off the lot, you own it. Some states allow vehicles to be returned if there are major mechanical issues (Lemon Laws). So dealers will offer a period of time (24-72 hours) that customer can return their car, but that's about it.

I live in Texas and have never heard of any lemon law anywhere that applies to a pre owned vehicle
