If you mean to send a message from an ipad to a phone (or any device that receives texts), yes, you can. The only thing is is that you need wifi or 3g. You can send texts by installing an app from the app store that allows you send texts (the one i use is called Text Now. You can send texts and make calls, but you have to pay to make calls). ∙ 13y agoYou can send a picture message on iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS but they must be on the latest firmware. However you can't send picture messages on the original iPhone even if you have upgraded to the new firmware. The 3GS can send MMS with video attachments, audio attachments and picture attachments. The 3G can send audio and picture.
