No, you cannot. The .38 Special can be fired out of .357 Magnum revolver (but not automatics or lever action rifles), however.

Can you shoot a 41 magnum round out of a 44 magnum revolver?

NO

Can a 38 shoot 357 ammunition?

No! A firearm chambered for the .38 cannot safely shoot .357 magnum ammunition. The .357 has a longer case and overall cartridge length, and a much stronger powder charge. The .357 magnum will not fit into a .38 revolver, and if it did the chamber pressure would exceed the design of the .38 and could cause catastrophic failure of the firearm, in an injurious or deadly way. However, you can shoot a .38 special round safely through a .357 magnum as they both share the same caliber bullet. The same holds true with shooting a .44 special through a .44 magnum.

Can you shoot 44 special shells in your 44 magnum?

In a .44 Magnum revolver, yes. In a semi-automatic .44 Magnum (such as the Desert Eagle), no.

Can a 44 magnum rifle use 44 special ammo?

Yes. The 44 magnum can fire 44 special ammo in the same way a .357 magnum can use .38 Special.

Does the 44 magnum really exist?

The 44 Magnum made by S&W acutally uses a .429 diameter bullet. I am unaware of any .44 diameter bullet loaded in a round called "44 Magnum"

Can a colt anaconda shoot 44 special ammo?

What is a magnum round?

The term magnum was first used with the .357 Smith & Wesson Magnum (to use the entire name) to designate a cartridge that had higher energy than the parent catridge it was develoepd from. In the case of the .357, the parent was .38 Special. In the case of the .44 magnum, parent was .44 Special. A magnum is a bottle of champagne that is larger than a standard bottle, and the word was borrowed by the firearms world.

Can .44 Russian shoot in a .44 Magnum?

Yes, .44 Russian and .44 Special can be fired safely from a .44 Magnum revolver. They are the same diameter, shorter, with less power. Also darned hard to find and expensive.

Can you shoot 44 long in a 44 magnum rifle or any 44 magnum bullets?

.44 Long? Check your cartridge again. As for your question, whatever you have, I'm almost 100% certain it won't be compatible with a .44 Magnum firearm. The only cartridge backwards compatible with the .44 Magnum is the .44 Special, and even that has limitations. .44 Special can be fired in a .44 Magnum revolver, but you need to check with the manufacturer before attempting this with a rifle, as the rifle will have a headspaced chamber.

What is the difference between 45 magnum and 45 acp ammunition?

I'm not aware of a .45 Magnum. There is a .44 Magnum. The 44 magnum is typically a revolver round, very high power. The 45 ACP is typically used in semi-automatic pistols. The 45 ACP is not as powerful compared to the 44 magnum (mostly due to the amount of propellant in the 44 magnum compared to the 45 acp).
