Yes. You go to "Sign up" and make up a Username And Password. Then you enter your email (If you already used your email on answers.com, u cant use it again. So, u have to make/ use another email address) and, ur signed up! Good Luck!
The above no longer works. The author apparently has not tried it recently.
You do not have the option of entering all three of those items, just the first two.
I will soon be canceling my Answers.com account in protest.

If you do not have a Facebook account, the only other thing you can do on the page you get when clicking sign up is to join Facebook.
I don't know if that is what the Answers.com originators intended, but that is a change that their programmers have made.
Because of that, you can no longer join answers unless/until you have a Facebook account.
Facebook is becoming a de-facto single-sign-on mechanism.
Yes, in fact I did. You can easily hit the "Sign up" button and type the username you want, your password, and your email. Make sure you read the Terms of Use!

Click "Sign up with email," fill in the necessary information (first name, last name, email address, the username you want to use, and your password), check the "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" box, and click "Sign Up" to create a WikiAnswers account.

You don't have to have a Facebook account. You have the option of creating a separate one.

The skinny is that a new contributor who has not previously signed up, finds, when he attempts to sign up for an account with WikiAnswers, that WikiAnswers gives him only one mechanism for signing up.
