Opana (Oxymorphone) is commonly snorted due to its bioavailability is 4x stronger when snorted than it is when taken orally. Orally you absorb 10%, Snorting it you absorb 40%, and IV you absorb 100%. The Opana IR pills have no kind of system to deter abuse so they are able to be taken all 3 ways. Opana IR comes in 5 and 10 mg pills. Opana ER pills do have an abuse system in the pills. They gel when they come in to contact with water. They can still be snorted, but the system makes it so one would not be able to IV it. Opana ER comes in 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg, and 40 mg.
