Answer
I have an older Apple iBook, it's white and I love it. Still is faster then my p4 2 gig in my basement, better graphics and it's 4 years old, no hardware issues. But caution, the power adapter, and this is verified on the Mac website, gets hot, hot enough that you can not touch it. There for I keep it off my kitchen table. I still get a good 3 or 4 hours from the battery. Much better power management then a pc. IF you purchase one, it wont be new. Your best bet is eBay or a computer show. Good Luck.
A bit more information
Actually iBooks were never available in Strawberry. They were available in Blueberry, Tangerine, Indigo, Graphite, and Lime. These first iBooks are collectively known as the "clamshell" iBooks, due to their colorful and rugged design. I desperately hoped they'd come out with a pink model, but it never happened. However, all these colours are still available IF you know where to look. They are out of production now, and have been for some time... but if you hit places like eBay, they can still be found, and at really good prices too.
They do work with wireless internet, but it's the older version 802.11b (I think, anyway). I've still got my first edition iBook, and it runs just fine, mind you... it's incredibly slow compared to todays machines. It's still great for word processing and email applications though - you just don't want to bother with photoshop, many games, or other large applications. Also, keep in mind that the native resolution of the displays on the clamshell iBooks is 800 x 600 pixels.
