Can you substitute egg whites for whole eggs when baking? In: Baking |
Answer
Sometimes. It does change the texture a bit, you can try and see for yourself. If the recipe doesn't turn out, mark it in your book that you can't use just egg whites. You might also consider using an egg substitute called "Egg Beaters" in the area of the store which sells butter/yogurt/cottage cheese, etc.
u can, but if the recipe calls for egg whites and not whole eggs stick with the recipe
well, you can. ut the taste wouldn't come out as good as it would have been if you use only egg whites. so i reccomend using whole eggs.
