Yes absolutely. These drugs are from the same family of opiates. The oxycodone is a little stronger, but they work the same. Just take them 4-6 hours apart.
It is 2 different narcotics. Would not be wise. You could overdose very easily. Why would you do that in the first place. Give yourself at LEAST 4 hrs between the 2 narcotics.
Yea sure i would
Hydrocodone and Oxycontin contain the same active drug... oxycodone. So 10mg of Hydrocodone and 10 mg of Oxycontin have the same amount of Oxycodone (10 mg) in them. The only difference is that the Hydrocodone contains Tylenol in addition to the Oxycodone. So on the Hydrocodone bottle it might say something like 10/500. So the Hyrocodone in that instance has 10 mg of oxycodone and 500mg of Tylenol.
Everyone is different , but generally oxycodone is better.
This is what your test will show.Oxycodone,Hydrocodone, and Alprazolam or Benzodiazapine. The soma wont show up as anything. It is not a narcotic.
its the generic oxycodone 5 mg.
It contains hydrocodone, which is a synthetic form of codeine, which is a narcotic pain killer, along with Tylenol (or acetaminophen) which helps boost the pain killing capabilities of the hydrocodone.
From weakest to strongest: 10. Norco (Hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 9. Lortab (Hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 8 Vicodin (Hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 7. Percocet (Oxycodone and acetaminophen) 6. Percodan (Oxycodone and aspirin) 5. Oxycontin 40 (Pure Oxycodone) 4. RMS/MS Contin (Morphine Sulfate) 3. Fentora (Fentanyl 2. Dilaudid/Palladone (Hydromorphone/dihydromorphinone) 1. Opana (Oxymorphone)
I'm not too sure I understand your question but I'll try to answer it to the best of my ability. if you take Hydrocodone or vicodin whatever on your drug test it will show Hydrocodone and a number say 100 and positive also for Hydromorphone but it will be a much smaller number say 10 same with Oxycodone and Oxymorphone and Codiene and Morphine This is because the liver enzimes convert some but not all Hydrocodone to Hydromorphone which is a much stronger chemical Oxycodone is converted to Oxymorphone and Codiene is converted to Morphine. Hope this helps somewhat.
having experience being prescribed both of those drugs, I would have to say hydrocodone is roughly 1/4 to 1/3 as powerful as oxycodone 10/325's.so, 5 or 6 of the regular 5/500 hydrocodones would be roughly equal in strength as 2-3 oxycodone (percocet) 10/325's.good luck, coming from a person who suffers chronic pain.i don't want to take opioids for the rest of my life, but at this point, it seems like my onlyoption to stay comfortable and active in my life.
Yes, It is also similar to hydrocodone, differing only in that it has a hydroxyl group at carbon-14.
Lorcet is a brand name drug consisting of 10 mg of hydrocodone and 650 mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol). As a generic it is normally written "hydrocodone/APAP 10/650." Hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid with a potency equal to morphine. Hydrocodone is also found in several other combination drugs including Vicodin, Lortab, Norco, and Vicoprofen. Oxycodone is, like hydrocodone, a semi-synthetic opioid however it is considerably more potent. Oxycodone is found as a single preparation drug (OxyIR), as a combination drug (Percocet, Percodan), and as a controlled-release drug (OxyContin). Under US law Lorcet it a schedule III drug and all drugs containing oxycodone are placed in the more restrictive schedule II.
Any opiates really oxycodone is a little more addictive but it is a lot stronger and works ten times better then your normal prescips for 10mg vicodins.
They are both very similar. The 7.5 in both of them stand for the amt. of hydrocodone and oxycodone in each tablet. The 500 and 325 stand for how much acetaminophen or also known as Tylenol is in each tablet. They hydro and oxy are similar except that hydro is made with a process of water and oxy are made with a process of oxygen.
