For a vaccine to work, it has to provoke a response from the body's immune system to create antibodies which would protect you against the disease you are being vaccinated against.

Alcohol does not interfere with this process of immune response, BUT alcohol is basically a poison that the body has to work hard to process. The vaccine provoked antibody response is also hard work for the body, and I don't think it is wise to ask the body to do too much at once. I would advise anyone who has had a vaccination of any sort not to stress the body unnecessarily for a couple of days after having a vaccine.
