Fetal protectionYou should definitely ask your doctor before taking ANY medication, no matter what it is. It's not worth risking birth defects.

If not advised by a doctor you should not take any over the counter medications they may lead to birth defects or something else wrong with your

pregnancy or worse your baby consult your ob/gyn before you do.

My Doctor has OK'd the use of Claritin-D and Flonase with all 3 of my previous pregnancies. They have helped tremendously.

If it is a new thing you should see a doctor as an itchy skin can be a sign of a serious condition relating to pregnancy.
