You should not take Flexeril with codeine, no. You can take either Flexeril and ibuprofen or Codeine and ibuprofen. Taking two sedative drugs together can cause you to pass out and have trouble breathing. Ibuprofen is harsh on the stomach, so you should have some food before you take it. And you should decide which relaxant you want to take with the ibuprofen because you should not take both.

I am not one hundred percent positive, but almost, that you can take both Flexeril and codeine together. I have been diagnosed with PBS and have recently been prescribed both codeine + acetaminophen along with a generic muslce relaxer, substituted for Flexeril. Both were prescribed by the same doctor and there was no mention of not taking the two together, which I believe would be an important point. I was told just to take both as needed. You just want to stay away from driving because the mixing of the two can cause one to be very tired and pain-free, most importantly. Just be sure to stick with the prescribed dosages when mixing the two together. That is very important.
