How do you take a screenshot on Age of Empires 2 with Windows XP?

To take a screenshot, press Printscreen on your keyboard. If your keyboard does not have one, you can find screenshot taking software on a search engine.
If you are using Windows 7, go here
C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\Screenshots

∙ 12y agoClick the "print screen" button to save a screenshot. The pictures should be saved in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age Of Empires 2\Screenshots, or whatever other folder you installed the game in.

∙ 9y agothe simplest way is pressing the print screen button (some computers have it as prntscrn) then when you've finished and close the game open up paint and press Ctrl+V. Then press Ctrl+S to save. There's also a simple yet free solution in screenshot.net.
