Can you take your old net10 sim card and put it in to your new net10 phone and receive the call that would have went to your old phone and if there was minutes on your old phone will they be on my new?

The TracFone / NET10 SIM Card is very unique. It can only be used in a phone sold by TracFone or NET10. Once a phone is activated the SIM Card is tied to the Serial Number of the phone. It can not be removed and placed in a different TracFone or NET10 phone. It has to stay with the phone it was originally activated in. The units/minutes are not stored on the SIM Card they are stored in the phone itself. The TracFone / NET10 SIM Card can not be used in any other GSM technology phone. TracFone and NET10 both have an elaborate database of all the phones they have ever sold in it. You can not activate a phone unless the Serial Number is in their database. If you purchase a phone that has not been properly scanned by a retailer you will not be able to activate it.=You can not change the SIM Card and activate a TracFone on the NET10 website and you can not change the SIM Card and activate a NET10 phone on the TracFone website. If you try you will be directed to the proper website for activation.==There are three types of SIM cards currently being used by TracFone and NET10 depending on the Zip Code you will be using the phone in the most. SIM cards with a part number ending in C4 are on the AT&T/Cingular network, cards ending in T5 are on the T-Mobile network and cards ending in D6 are on the Dobson network which was recently acquired by AT&T.==You do not have to buy a SIM Card for a TracFone or a NET10 phone. A replacement SIM Card will be sent to you FREE of charge if you request one. You can call TracFone Customer Service at 1-800-867-7183 or NET10 Customer Service at 1-877-836-2368 . When you call press 1 for English, press 4 when the first menu starts then press 5 when the second menu starts to talk to a Customer Service Representative. The replacement SIM Card will be shipped to you by Express Delivery.==Do not be fooled by eBay sellers claiming their TracFone / NET10 SIM Card includes 10 to 20 units/minutes. A TracFone / NET10 SIM Card does not include any units/minutes. A new or reconditioned TracFone or NET10 phone comes with Starter units/minutes when activated. Depends how much you use it. I have owned both a net10 phone and a tracfone. If you make many calls and send a lot of texts then I would definitely go with a net10 - they even have several phones that you can get 3 cent/minute texting. It's always 10 cents/minute of calling - anytime, anywhere. Net10 also has a great selection of more modern looking phones. Tracfone would be much better if you only use your phone occasionally and don't need a lot of minutes. For paying the same price as a net10 minute card, you will get 3 times the amount of service days, but fewer minutes. This means that although you have fewer minutes, your minutes will last longer. You can also buy at $24 "Double minutes for life" card which will double the minute cards that you buy. For example, if you buy a 60 minute card, it will give you 120 minutes. Some tracfones come with the Double minutes for life which is also nice. So evaluate how much you talk on the phone and how much you would be using it. Net10 is better for a more highly used phone, and tracfone better for a phone that you use less.
Is NET10 a good prepaid cell phone plan?
Net10 is amazing - I have had both a net10 and a tracfone and net10 is by far better. The main reason is that it is always 10 cents/minute for a call - anywhere, anytime. Some net10 phone models also offer 3 cent texting. They also have more modern, sleek, and "stylish" phone models. This would be a good phone if you make frequent calls and texts. If you don't use the phone often then a tracfone might be a better option to look in to.

Yes. The Lg Enlighten can be pre paid and you can buy it from either straight talk, net10, or tracfone.com. I would suggest buying it pre paid because its the exact same features and options only difference is that there are minutes. But no bills, no plans or contract, just minutes. I actually just bout that phone last week. Best pre paid phone out. I bought it from tracfone and I am very satisfied with it. Very nice phone.
