Although there are more non-video resources (like websites) dedicated to transforming an individual into a great singer, here are some general private tips for singing.
First off, watch what you eat and drink before you sing. If you have some peanut butter or something of non-room-temperature and attempt to sing, you are more likely to not sing as well. Have some room-temperature water and nothing that makes your mouth sticky or your stomach upset and gassy.
Warm up before singing a piece. Do some excercises you find beneficial; Play some notes on a nearby musical instrument (or if you can, do a scale!) and sing every note, not going on to the next one until you perfect the current one.
When you breathe in, do not let your shoulders rise. You will find that you can generally fill your lungs quicker and more effeciently this way.
Stand or sit up straight. However you prefer sing, position yourself with good posture. At that, keep your head straight. Avoid tipping your head upwards to reach higher notes; Moving your head slightly to create a more dynamic, full sound is fine.
Do not be discouraged with your voice when you begin singing; Disliking your own voice is a very common reaction, but you will soon learn to like your voice when you begin to shape it to the style of music you would like to sing and persue! Don't give up!
Practice! Like most concepts, singing requires practice. Sit down and take some time to figure out your natural pitch range (how high or low you can go) and try to push it farther. If a piece becomes easy, try something more difficult. But keep in mind that singing isn't a cardiovascular exercise -- if you become dizzy or tired, you'll find more benefits in taking a brief break than continuing singing: Your mind will be cleared and you'll have better lung capacity (and power) to sing well.
OF course! you can go to a local school and ask a music teacher to help you with your vocals.........or you can just practice by getting some songs from the internet or just practice singing some songs u know...hope this answers ur question ^_^
100% YES! You can teach yourself how to sing. One step on teaching yourself hot to sing is by holding your breathe for as long as you can WITH OUT... passing out! Then try to sing a really high not for as long as you can! Do the same for a low not! Hope that helps. Practice this twice a week for really good results!
well first do some vocal excersices totrain your voice try singing some higher notes and well you start off there! :)
practise ! sing in your bedroom and try to hold your notes start of with low notes like beyonce and then try Leona Lewis and then Whitney Houston if you can crack them notes then your on your way to success ! :) ..
