According to its own stated guidelines, the TSA, which operates airport checkpoints, will not accept a state-issued public assistance card, EBT "food stamp" card, welfare card or medicaid card. You also can not use any of those to drive a car. You can, however, travel as a passenger in a car with a benefit card.
