Now there is a special battery released that can downgrade/unprick any PSP. Just go on to Google and search 'PSP Pandora Battery' and you'll soon find out how to do it. Note that you will require a working PSP that is already capable of running homebrew to do it dunbass.

what u do is buy a memory stick pro duo which has custom firmware on it and buy AA Pandora tool battery for whichever psp u have

steps

1 insert the magic memory stick

2 insert the Pandora tool battery

3 press 'L' and put it on

4 install whichever u want

One easy way is to run an update, but switch the PSP off before it finishes. Doing so will corrupt the PSP's firmware leaving it unable to boot. It's now bricked.
