I am assuming you are asking if you can update the iPhone software from the device directly rather than using a computer. Unfortunately, no, you cannot. The iOS (software used by the iPhone) can only be updated by using iTunes on your PC or Mac. This is because your iPhone needs to be "backed up" before undergoing a change to the device's operating system.
