Note that 3D movie theaters use circular polarization to produce the 3D effect, which is totally different from the shutter systems domestic 3D TVs use. Movie theater 3D is much higher resolution than domestic television. The system uses twin projection systems to deliver full resolution images to both eyes. However, LG televisions use the same disposable glasses that can be used in movie theaters.
