Yes. Just do not place your stone and frozen foods directly into a heated oven afterwards...this is considered thermal shock and can crack the stone. I sell the stuff and am positive that you can freeze them, microwave them, and use them in the oven. Now, if you put (for example) frozen chicken breasts on it and then put the whole thing in the freezer and then later on, put the entire pan into an UNheated oven and let it heat up together, they will be perfect...no need to worry.

yes but you do not need to. Just make sure to keep your stoneware oiled regularly, and the stone will hold the oil in it. Which is one reason that you never wash your stoneware with soap, only hot water.

How do you clean Pampered Chef stoneware?

Pampered Chef Stoneware is awesome......the surface is virtually non porous so you won't transfer food tastes between foods and your foods will come out crispy and cook even....so no more burnt edged cookies or brownies with raw middles.....to use the stone you may want to grease it the first couple times so foods won't stick.....as your stone becomes seasoned it will darken in color and become non stick. You should only wash your stone in hot water and scrape off excess food with the Pan Scraper provided. Do not put your stone in the dishwasher and they recommend not to use soap.

Is most stoneware (ironstone) microwave safe?

I have some ironstone dishes which say on the bottom of the 10" plates that they can be put in the microwave. On the other hand, they have developed crazing. There are fine cracks under the glaze.

If it doesn't say microwave safe on the back of a stoneware dish can it harm the microwave?

Yes. You can double check any item to see if safe to use in a microwave and not harm it by, for example, take a cup from a dinnerware set, and put water in it and cook for one minute. If the water is not warm, but the cup is warm or hot to the touch, it is not safe!

Allow foods frozen in the Stoneware to thaw completely in the refrigerator before placing them in theoven to bake.• Use the same baking times and temperatures with Stoneware as you would with other bakeware. Can you put cold stoneware in the oven?

I was going to use mine too. Mine a Rival, has a stoneware insert. It says it can go in the oven, but does not mention temps. The lid can not go in, but I thought I could use heavy foil. I think I'll check their site first for temp info. I found this on the crock pot website. It says that all Crock-Pot slow cooker removable crockery may be used safely in the oven with temperatures up to 400°F without the lid.
