I use pyrex on my gas grill. I don't like to use aluminum.

I put room tempature water or oil in the dish add seasoned meat.

No cover. Meat comes out unbelieveably moist. The key is never to add anything cold to the dish when it is hot if you do it will burst

Unless you're using a blowtorch, there shouldn't be a problem. Other than that you'll probably get it all sooty. Keep in mind that Pyrex (in the US) is manufactured from soda lime glass, and is more susceptible to thermal shock than glass made of borosilicate compounds. If you are cooking over an open flame, ease the cookware onto the flame and heat slowly.

Yes. Pyrex glass pots are safe on Gas burner. I had used my for over 15years and is still in very good condition.

We tried tonight to bake lasagna in a Pyrex dish on a gas grill and it cooked beautifully and then exploded when we took it out. Glass everywhere.
