It's OK if there is no strain on the piece. I would notuse it on stem of a wine glass for instance.

How do you reattach the front driver's side window on a 1995 Lincoln Continental?

I had to do this recently when the glass came out of the track. First remove the trim panel and carefully lift out the glass. Then remove the two attachment pieces from the sissor arm. After taking careful measurements use some Goop or other glue to attach the two pieces to the glass. After the glue dries you can then carefully reinsert the glass into the door and attach it to the sissor. I waited a couple of days before operating the window to make sure the glue was dry. .

Can you use glue on fleece?

Glue can be used on fleece. A straight pins are needed to put the two pieces of fleece or material together. Carefully remove one pin and pull apart the two material pieces and place a small dot of fabric glue. Replace the pin or secure with a binder clip. Repeat this process for each pin that was originally used. The glue must have time to soak into the fabric and bond the pieces together. It is best to let it sit for twenty-four hours. After this time remove a pin or binder one at a time and gently tug on the two pieces. If they pull apart repeat the above process.

What are the types of glass they use in cars?

Side and rear uses "tempered" glass. Tempered glass is used because it breaks into small pieces and does not create long, sharp shards which can stab you. Windshields are made of "Laminated" glass, meaning that two pieces are glued together using a clear, sticky material. Laminated glass is used to protect you as well. The pieces are stuck together so that the big pieces don't get loose and fly into your face. The advantage of laminated glass is that it will hold together enough to make it so that you can still see out, so that you can hopefully have a little better chance of controlling your car.

What is a biscuit cutter used for?

It is a joinery tool. You cut a slot in the two pieces of wood you're going to join, put some glue on a biscuit, stick the biscuit in the slots and clamp it together. The biscuits are made from beechwood. They swell up from the moisture in the glue and lock the wood together.
