There shouldn't be any adverse effects to you as the user. The fact that it's expired simply means that it will likely be less effective as a lice killer or control.
That said, you probably shouldn't use it. For the simple reason that, like the old adage that says, "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger," the lower efficacy of the expired product may allow some of the lice to, not only survive, but become resistant to the shampoo. Once they become resistant to it, the full strength shampoo will be less effective at controlling the resistant lice as well.
Take the expired shampoo back to your local pharmacy for disposal.
Woah! No, don't use expired lice treatments!
Do not ever ever use any expired ones
Yes, but it may not be as effective as it should be due to degradation of the insecticides in it.
I believe that you have to use the special shampoo because it has the killing adgent in it. Regular shampoo will not touch the lice or their eggs!
Lindane 1% shampoo or pyrethrin with peperonyl butoxide shampoo can be used to get rid of pubic lice.
Not necessarily. You will need to use lice killing shampoo and pick out the lice with a comb.
