Cedar wood is a very good timber for EXTERNAL cladding etc.
It is also looks good internally too; makes a nice feature.
The problem is; it far too soft to use as flooring.
I use this timber from time to time.

Moisture will make the boards crack and warp, the sun will help with the cracking and will turn the boards grey like drift wood.
