No that's glycol based. I think most all Vdubs are G12 which is reddish or you can use one that is G12 compatible, be careful mixing the wrong ones turns it into jello which won't do anything to cool your car. Check your owners manual to be 100% sure-G12 doesn't mix with other types.
You may use Volkswagon G12 coolant or Prestone Extended Life coolant. If cost is a factor use the latter.
how to use the 2001 passat jack
The 2001 Volkswagen Passat runs on premium unleaded (recommended).
VW will tell you that you must use their specific yellow coolant. You don't. Just use the top of the line Prestone that is for all engine types. Don't add water!! It runs on pure coolant...
1984-2000 is green, 2001-2012 is red, 2013+ is purple.
If it is green then any ethylene glycol or universal coolant will work if it is red/pink/orange then use a universal coolant, the mopar HOAT coolant or Zerex G-05 coolant.

It uses the ORANGE coolant.
Yes
Most newer GM's take Dexcool, which is orange. But if it was green before then use green coolant. Mixing the two can be very bad for your cooling system.
You can use Motorcraft Premium Gold Coolant in your 2003 Cobra SVT. You can also use the green version of this coolant.
