When you fill out your form for direct deposit, it states that the information that you listed is correct and that you knowingly are allowing those funds to be deposited. But be careful though! In some states, these DD forms also include a disclosure that if you are having your wages garnished (for broken supplies or being overpaid) they can withdraw the amount from that DD account without notice.
