Run a compression test. If compression is down in several cylinders you've probably warped a head. That's a common problem after an engine has overheated, that's why it's so essential that you NEVER allow an engine to run out of coolant, and you should watch the temperature indicator.
If an engine dies from being overheated you've probably blown a head gasket.
Engine Seized?
I do not have a answer for it, do you an answer for this problem?
hohohohoho
Try replacing your spak plugs. I had the same problem with my 85 Monte Carlo.
Can be many things. Lack of fuel, or other electrical problem.
more than likely the head gasket is blown or if it wont crank over the rod bearings locked up
my guess would be that it over heated and blew a head gasket. just a guess, but that exact same thing happened to my bmw. let me guess it wont even crank?
security lock out had same problem with our 2004 grand am
Had ther same problem, ignition switch fixed it.
Do a fuel pressure check. I had the same problem and it was my fuel pump.
If the vehicle has a security feature check the fuse under the hood. My 2001 SL1 had that problem. its like a 30 Amp fuse.
check the distributor
