That means the solenoid IS working, but power is too low to turn the starter. Check and if necessary clean or tighten the battery terminals. If still the same, charge your battery on slow for at least 12 hours, or get another battery.

∙ 15y agoPossibly the starter, possibly the solenoid... fortunately, they're both replaced when you buy a new starter.

∙ 14y agoThe battery could be (almost) dead, or a battery cable could be lose. I would start by verying these. Also could be:
Seized engine
Bad starter
Bad starter solenoid
