Yes you should inspect your brakes and if you feel a lack of performance from your front brakes then take the wheel off and measure the pad thickness. Also check the condition of the rotors. If the car isn't pulling to one side while braking and you don't feel pedal vibrations during normal braking but you feel a decrease in brake performance get new pads. Your question does not ask how to so I wont bother answering. For future reference everyone please give more info in your questions.
