An alloy is a solution of metals and/or combined with one or more non-metals. It is a solution because one metal (solid) dissolves in another metal (solid) and may contain other elements (solid) as well. An alloy retains the properties common to metal, but is not pure metal.
Examples:Brass (copper and zinc)
Steel (iron and carbon)
Bronze (copper and tin)
An alloy is less reactive and much stronger, instead of using a pure metal it may be reactive and weaker.
steel is an alloy of iron. Combining other substances makes the iron stronger and can make it more corrosion resistant.
Brass is a alloy and its composition are 30% zinc and 70% copper
Solder is commonly a tin:lead alloy. Bronze is an alloy of tin and copper. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc.
An alloy is a fusion of two or more types of metals, to create a new one. Such as titanium.

They are a physical change because it is not like burning where a new substance is being formed.
What do alloys and synthetic fibers have in common?
Alloys can add heat resistance to a metal
Metal alloys are used whenever a pure material does not have the desired characteristics. For example, pure gold is beautiful, but relatively soft and does not keep its shape well. A gold alloy is just as pretty, but is hard enough to resist dents. Iron is hard, but rusts quickly. Steel, an alloy of iron, carbon and other metals, is harder and more durable.
They are easy to shape into new things They are unlikely to break and very solid
We use aluminium to make alloys. Alumina is a example.
copper
Alloys are metal mixtures. For example, Sterling silver is a mixture of silver and copper.
mixing paints and mixing alloys
Usually because alloys are stronger or otherwise have better properties in one way or another.
For example all steels.
The plural form of the noun alloy is alloys. The plural possessive form is alloys'.Example: We've tested all of these alloys' strength.

it means to ore the iron into an object example car alloys
Alloys are homogeneous mixture of at least two metals: bronze (Cu, Sn) and brass (Cu, Zn) are example of two copper alloys.
Examples: a mixture of powders of iron and cobalt, a mixture of carbon and sulfur, a mixture of hydrogen and nitrogen, etc.
