Common sense does not mean that sense is common?

Answer:
Either.

P.S. - Common sense is an integration and interpretation of informations collected through the five sense organs, viz. eyes ( e.g. CCTV), ears (BT line recording of all languages), nose (environmentalists), tongue (food&medicine regulators) and skin (weather forecasters) in the background of knowledge, experience and futuristic/creative thinking.

A man sees rising smoke(fire) from a distance, hears crackling sounds(leaves&woods burning),smells sandalwood(sandaltree burning),tastes like clarified butter (ritual by Indian saints),approaches a river side through a jungle, senses hot wind (cremation!).He approaches further and sees burning pier, confirmation of his common sense- precise and right description-"Cremation".

Without his common sense he would have been wandering with words like fire, leaves&woods burning, sandaltree burning, ritual by Indian saints etc. With continued development of common sense through knowledge, experience and thinking Extrasensory Perception develops, viz. intuition, clairvoyance and telepathy - all acquired through training the mind (e.g. computers) and the senses(peripherals) to integrate and interpret.

Sense, pause and think!

[N.B. - On pausing more sensing possible as in the above sequence]
