In the competition between green tea and black tea is difficult to declare a winner.

This is because both teas offer great health benefits, many varieties, and many years of enjoyment. But which tea is better and healthier?

Studies show that green tea had more than natural antioxidants present in black tea. This is simply because green tea is less processed than black.

Now this does not mean that black tea is inferior to green tea. Black tea has its share of anti-oxidants, and to be quite honest, the number difference is not night and day. Drinking a cup of black tea is just as good, health wise, because drinking a cup of green. Also remember that more studies are done on green tea than black, so it is natural to think that green is a better cup.

When comparing green tea black tea on caffeine, green tea has less vs. A cup of green, less than half the caffeine compared to a cup of black ... So green tea wins. Unless you have a shock!

Green tea vs black tea in the morning.

After typing the above I realized this ...

What makes a better morning cup of tea?

Well, black tea replaced coffee for me in the mornings, although black tea and half the amount of caffeine than coffee, it still did a good job getting the sleepiness from my head.

I feel that black tea is a better morning tea than green, and is a better "sweet snacks" than green tea.

Green tea is a more relaxing cup of black (especially the Sencha race) and is great in the afternoon or evening with less intake of caffeine is invited. I love to sip green tea on rainy days, especially when I am out (or off) of the work! It is the perfect solo cup of tea.

Taste differences.

Green tea flavor for some people is a grass and off, while black tea is sweeter, more generally accepted, at least in Western culture. Black tea is the most consumed type of tea in the world, so when it comes to a contest of consumption, black tea wins hands down.

Caffeine is the very first thing to come out of the tea leaf when hat water is poured over it. To reduce the caffeine in your tea... pour boiling water over your tea, steep 10 seconds, pour off the water and refill with more boiling water. Steep as recommended and enjoy.

What has more caffeine a cup of black coffee or a cup of coffee prepared light and sweet Why would there be a difference?

A Cup of Black Coffee has much more caffeine. ^^ Are you stoned, or just stupid? Why in HELL would adding milk and sugar decrease the content of a chemical present since BEFORE the coffee was prepared? If you spill some out to make room, sure there'd be less caffeine - but the difference in volume is barely perceptible.

Between chamomile tea and chocolate milk which has more caffeine?

The caffeine content of tea varies widely from one tea to the next, but it is impossible to make an accurate general statement about green, black, white, or oolong tea containing the most or the least caffeine. Rather, the processing of the individual tea, and most importantly, the part of the plant used, influences the caffeine content.Teas containing more leaf buds tend to contain more caffeine, whereas teas made of mature leaves and stems tend to contain less caffeine. The processing also affects caffeine content; some roasted teas, such as hojicha, are very low in caffeine. The teas with the most caffeine are thus "tippy" teas, those with the most leaf buds. These include Silver Needle or Bai Hao Yinzhen (a white tea), Tippy Assam, Yunnan Gold, and other tippy black teas, and a number of tippy green teas. Tippy Assam is often used in Irish Breakfast and other strong breakfast blends, so these blends can tend to be high in caffeine. It is a widespread myth that black tea contains the most caffeine of any tea. Black teas made of larger, more mature leaves, such as Lapsang Souchong, can be very low in caffeine.Caffeine content also depends on brewing. Longer steeping times and using more leaf both result in a higher caffeine content. Ways of brewing tea that result in a stronger tasting cup usually result in greater caffeine extraction.black tea

Does Panax ginseng contain caffeine?

Ginseng tea probably has a small amount of caffeine in it because it is usually a mix of ginseng and green or black tea, and some ginseng tea's also have black licorice root. In some cases, Ginseng tea doesn't have caffeine, but if it has green or black tea mixed in it then it most likely does.
