I recently installed 3d Home Architect Deluxe 3.0 on a Vista Home Premium computer. Put the CD in the computer, and install as per normal. When you try to run the program, you will get an error message that a file is missing. This is a windows file and all you need to do is Google the file, download and copy to the folder where it needs to go (not sure of the details now, but just follow the instructions for the file). You do not need to install the file, just place it in the correct folder. You do not need to reboot. It works on mine.
yes, I had the same problem. I downloaded the file from:
http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/D/d3drm.dll/5.1.2600.0/download.html
right-click on the file in the downloads box, select copy, the go to computer/local disk/ and select 3dhad3 (file folder). move the mouse to somewhere in the folder and select paste. open the program and it should work.
3D Home Architect 4.0 or 5.0 is not compatible with windows vista. But since version 5.0 is compatible with Windows XP, sometimes it will work with Vista (no guarantee). all broderbund products will work on vista. sometimes you just need to download a missing file, though.
Yes, windows vista is already pre-loaded on this computer when you receive it. More specifically, Windows Vista Home Premium edition.
The only operating systems that run "SimCity Societies" include: Windows Vista Home Edition, Windows Vista Professional, Windows Vista Media Center Edition, Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Home Edition, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 8 Home Edition, Windows 8 Home Premium, Windows 8 Professional, Windows & Ultimate, and last but not least the: Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
They are "compatible" in the sense that many applications that run on Windows XP will run on Windows Vista.
Many applications and games written for or compatible with Windows 98 will run on Windows Vista.
Yes ofcourse, Windows Vista is upgraded version of Windows XP. Obviously it can run Windows XP applications.
Windows Vista
The Lenovo Y410 shipped with Windows XP Home or Windows Vista Home Premium, but Windows 7 should also run on it just fine.
Windows Vista can already run most XP applications, with no need for any additional software.
your computer might not be powerful enough to run vista. but to be honest i hate vista, get windows 7. Are there any applications running?
open CD drive insert windows vista disk and run it
You should buy an upgrade version of Windows Vista however your computer if running XP is likely not to be powerful enough to run windows vista. You should run Microsoft Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor before upgrading as this will show you any problems your computer may have running Vista.
Yes.
