Best Answer

first you must have a mass in mind. eg 345 grams of Carbon

divided the mass by the molar weight of the particular substance. In the case of Carbon 12 grams/mole

345 grams/12 grams/mole = 28.75 moles

How do you convert 0.85 g of calcium to mmol?

You look up the atomic weight for calcium, which is equivalent to the number of grams per mole. Then you divide the 0.85 g by this number, to get the number of moles. From there, it should be easy to convert to millimoles.

How do you convert mmoll to grams for NaCl?

How do you convert 50 milli molar of sodium acetate into grams?

we know, 50 mM = 50/1000 moles per litre = 0.05 moles no. of moles = weight in grams/ weight of one mole weight of one mole of sodium acetate (CH3COONa) = 83g per mole no. of moles = 50/1000 = 0.05 moles thus weight in grams = 0.05*83 = 4.15 g

How do you calculate mass of an unknown liquid in grams per mole?

you convert it to g/mole. Think of Mole as the word "dozen." Whenever you see the word "mole" just cross it out and put in the word "dozen". Do the problem like that, and then change all of your dozens to 6^1023. A dozen is 12. A bakers dozen is 13 and a mole is....whatever...some other big number. It doesnt matter. How do you calculate mass of a liquid in grams/dozen? You usese it's atomic weight which is in grams and then convert.

How many grams of h20 are equivalent to 4 mole of h20?

Since the molar mass (grams per mole) of H2O is 18.02, the grams of H2O in 4 moles is 72.08g.

How many grams of hydrogen are there in 150 g of ammonia?

150 grams NH3 (1 mole NH3/17.034 grams)(3 mole H/1 mole NH3)(1.008 grams/1 mole H)= 26.6 grams hydrogen=================17 g of ammonia has 3 g of hydrogen.So 150 g of ammonia will have 26.5 g of hydrogen

How do you convert 5.67 g per 10 oz to grams per gram?

Assumed that the question is "How to convert 5.67 g per 10 oz (in weight and not fluid ounces) to grams per gram" 1 ounce = 28.3495231 grams Hence 5.67 g per 10 oz is 5.67 g per 283.495231 grams and that is 0.02 gm per gm

How many moles is 22 grams of Cu2S?

One definition of a mole is the sum of the average atomic weights (mass) of a compound. In this case 2 Copper + 1 Sulfur = (2 * 63.55) + (1 * 32.07) = 159.17 grams per mole. So 22 g / 159.17 g/mole = 0.14 mole of Cu2S
