Did a motorcycle oil pan with JB that lasted at least 7 years so you can probably get away with it. Make sure you get the patch area super clean and rough it up with a file before you apply the epoxy. Let it cure completely. Check for leaks on a regular basis for a while.

Is a small gasket leak a problem?  Small engine oil leak at lower sump?  My daughter's '95 altima gxe has a small oil gasket leak located on the lower timing chain cover and it is easy to access so would jb weld work to seal the gasket leak without doing the job right.?
