Answer

i guess if they had contact with semen...i mean the pill is only 99. some odd cent effective

Answer

From personal experience, it is probably just the pill. It took me about 3-4 months for my period to regulate after starting the pill and every time I switched brands. It has taken me almost two years to find a pill that works for me (I don't mean being effective) but some brands would make me really sick, some brands would make me extremely emotional. But when I switched to Loesterin 24 Fe, I didn't have a period for about 3 months and I wasn't pregnant. But to make sure that your pills are 99% effective you should be on them for at least 30 days before having unprotected sex. This includes when you are switching brands, too.
