Not necessarily. If you got your period, then it is unlikely that you are pregnant. If you had unprotected sex before your period was supposed to come, maybe something could have happened then. Sometimes when i'm late, i end up with blood clots, just because the blood has been waiting for so long to come out, that it built up inside me. Maybe that's the case here! If it happens again next month then you should check with our doctor just in case! hope this helps!

Some of my family has said that they have had a very heavy period the first month that they were pregnant. If you think you are pregnant you should take a hpt or go to the doctors office and have a pregnancy test. I am having the same issue and 3 hpts have shown positive. I am crossing my fingers.
