There are spells for every purpose needful, most of them however are complex.
Crafting spells requires concentration, research and a period of soul-searching to determine your true motives.
If you are casting to control, change or even effect someone else, even if it is "for their own good", you should not be doing this working.
If you are casting for your own need, and you will not be "interfering" with someone else, nor are you using magic as an alternative to doing things the "hard way", then you need to research the appropriate house and phase of the moon, ingredients (herbs, stones, candle, colours, incense, etc), the correct time of day and the appropriate deities.
Then you craft your casting carefully (in writing), meditate once again on your ethics and proceed. Do not vary from your written spell, and when you are finished, clean up, and then act in accordance.
This is the core of all spells, you simply change the variables for the different spells.
