Daleth (דל"ת (ד

Is the fourth letter in the Hebrew Alphabet. it is pronounced like a D.

the ancient Hebrew letters came from sign representation of simple words and Daleth represented Delet which is a door.

דלת

the word daleth or deleth are written the same in Hebrew (not ancient hebrew) -

and also have a numerical value 4, so you can say i want to buy (ד ) - (daleth) cows. The Bible cites your "daleth dimensions" - meaning your close surrounding or your personal private territory (both physicall legal and metaphysically speaking).

the letter ד can also be a code for g-d. as you probably know it is undesired to mentioned his name in vain.
