Dally is Johnnys hero and why Dally is not Ponyboys hero?

because they saved the poor innocent children and put their own lives in danger to save the children that had a long life in front of them

Dally isn't really a hero, he only helps johnny and ponyboy. Johnny is the biggest hero in the novel, he helped the kids out of the church fire with ponyboy

Johnny thinks that Dally is a hero .Dally doesn't have very good manners, so that's not why, but when something happens and Dally knows who done it, but he got blamed, he wouldn't tell on who done...

Johnny,Dally,and Ponyboy are heroes because they saved those kids from the burning church.
