  • This looks at existing data.
  • It may be a summary, collation or synthesis of information.



Qualitative research
  • Looks at what humans behaviour and the reasons behind it.
  • What people do and why.



Quantitative
  • Quantitative research systematic empirical investigation quantitative properties.
  • How many people do these things and how often.
