There's no definitive reason for Hitler's hatred of the Jewish people. His reasoning, however, was for their inferiority, to a point of considering them as less than human. He also put the blame for the German loss of World War 1 on the Jews, allowing an enemy for the German people to rally against.

Antisemitism
Xenophobia is fear/hatred of other species, usually used in science fiction to describe hatred towards aliens.
The narrator describes Grendel's hatred for the Danes as "pain as raw as knuckles."
Anti-Semitism
Antisemitism as it is used in the English language today refers to discrimination against Jews. While Arabs (and certain others) are also Semitic peoples, the English term "antisemitism" was coined (around 1860) to refer to discrimination against Jews. Antisemitism was designed to sound much more scientific, and therefore more acceptable, than the common term for this hatred of Jews "Judenhass" (which literally means "Jew-hatred" in German).
