AnswerThey sinned because Satan tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit of from the Tree of Knowlege of Good and Evil. AnswerIt is per God will that they sinned. God created Adam and Eve. God is the All-Knowing . He know what Adam and Eve will do and what their descendants will do. AnswerMuslims believe that both Adam and Eve disobeyed God, and not only Eve.Muslims also believe that both Adam and Eve admitted their sin, repented, asked God for forgiveness. God accepted their repentance and forgave them (Quran Ch2 V.34-38)

Muslims believe that no one of Adam and Eve's descendants will be punished by Adam and Eve's sin. Everyone will be judged only on their own beliefs, deeds, and conduct.

Muslims believe that you are responsible for yourself in front of God the Creator on the Last Day of Judgment. No one, except God the Creator, can forgive you and accept you in His paradise per His mercy.

Answer

Yes; as a Christian, I can concur with this particular Muslim's description [above], except that God's Son came to earth to 'atone' for the sins of men and to raise the bodies of all 'dearly departed' from their graves at the Resurrection. "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive".

Individually, we will all be punished for our own sins and not for Adam's transgression.

Re the original question:

Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit because they did not yet understand sin: partaking of the tree gave them that knowledge.

They were enticed by the serpent, into whose body Satan had entered, and they succumbed to the reasoning and temptation.

As a result, all Mankind and all life are fallen, which is why we suffer the world of incident, change, decay, death and temporariness.

Therefore, even death will be but temporary, and ALL [except those whom Satan has sealed eternally his] shall be raised to a glorious resurrection of some measure.

Answer

Although the temptation that Adam and Eve had did help them to disobey, they still could have chose not to. God, being All-Knowing, did know that they would disobey but he still did not want them to. It is not God's fault that Adam and Eve sinned. You could say that he shouldn't have made them have free will and that he should have made them perfect. But you cannot have love without free choice.

It is uncertain. But it may be that he did not want his wife to be alone in the sin. It may also be that when his wife asked him if he wanted to eat, that he for some reason could not resist and just did it.

One thought:

GOD SAID TO NOT MESS WITH ANYTHING that's on earth AND NOT EAT EITHER BUT ADAM ATE AN APPLE because the devil convinced Adam and eve to eat it so god made Adam and eve choke on the apple and that's also why we have Adams apples, but my point is because they ate when they were told not too! those were notty children!

Another thought:

At Genesis 2:15-17, The Bible tells us that God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden in perfect condition, with clear direction and only one restriction. They were to:

-Cultivate and care for the garden

-Eat vegetation and any fruit that grew on the trees

-NOT eat from only ONE specific tree (the 'tree of the knowledge of Good and Bad')

This restriction had a purpose.

Humans were created to be in subjection to God and look to him for direction(Jeremiah 10:23). The "Tree of Knowledge" represented God's sovereignty (his RIGHT to rule...to make the rules for his creation for their own good). Having it in the middle of the Garden was:

-a reminder of his rulership

-constant assurance of God's love and care for his creation and

-a way for mankind to say 'thankyou' to their creator, for all he'd given them, by giving to God something that he didn't automatically have...their obedience. (Micah 6:8)(Matthew 7:21).

When Adam and Eve ate from that ONE restricted tree, they were actually rejecting God's rulership, in favor of what they thought was their OWN. Satan had promised them that if they ate from this tree, they would benefit from deciding right and wrong for themselves(Genesis 3:1-6). This was a lie, as mankind was never created to live independently of God. Adam and Eve's disobedience, took away their perfection, their everlasting life in their earthly paradise home(Genesis 1:28), and basically switched their allegiance from the Creator, to Satan(Romans 6:16), to whom they were now listening(John 8:44). In so doing, 'imperfection' eventually caused Adam to die (Genesis 5:5), and was introduced into all human descendants of Adam causing sickness and death and all the problems we face today(Genesis 3:17-19)(Romans 5:12).

Disobeying requires a knowledge that there is an option - good and evil. Neither Adam or Eve had this knowledge. Like telling newborn baby not to cry or dirty his diapers he has no understanding of what your words mean and no way of complying with your request even if he did. This means they are pretty much innocent of disobeying and undeserving of any punishment.

They sinned because they were tempted by the Devil to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. God knew that Adam and Eve would do this because he can see the future. He doesn’t punish us because we make up for the mistakes we did and do. Like if you kill someone, you have to make up for the action and go to jail. Or if you fought with your sister, you are given a time-out, and told to say sorry. My point is... that you cannot take on the actions of Adam and Eve... be more like Mary! πŸ•ŠπŸ•ŠπŸ•Š
